Cookie Policy

The plain-English version

Nudge uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries, and every one of them exists to make the app work. We run no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party data brokers.

1. What we store

  • Session / authentication — keeps you signed in between visits. Strictly necessary.
  • Preferences — things like your cookie choice and reduce-motion setting, so we don't ask twice.
  • Security — short-lived tokens used to protect sign-in and password reset flows.

Most of this lives in your browser's local storage rather than classic cookies, but we treat it the same way and disclose it here.

2. What we don't store

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site behavioural tracking
  • Third-party social pixels

3. Your choices

On your first visit we show a small banner with Accept and Essential only. Either way, only essential storage is used — we simply record your choice so the banner stays gone. You can clear it any time by clearing site data in your browser, and the banner will politely reappear.

Blocking essential cookies entirely will stop you from staying signed in. Sorry — that one's physics, not policy.

4. Third parties

Our hosting, database and authentication provider may set strictly-necessary cookies while serving a request. If you open Stripe's checkout or billing portal to manage your membership, Stripe sets its own cookies on its pages for payment security and fraud prevention. None of these are advertising cookies.

We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics or product-tracking script in Nudge. If that ever changes, this page changes first and the banner will ask you before anything non-essential loads.
