The Nudge Manifesto

Productivity culture can get in the bin.

We built Nudge because every other "ADHD app" was either a glorified spreadsheet or a guilt machine with a streak counter. ADHD brains don't need more discipline. They need the right poke at the right moment, delivered with a wink.

01

Streaks are a trauma response.

Every productivity app punishes the day you needed it most. We don't do that. Miss a day, miss a week — we'll still be here, exactly as enthusiastic.

02

Tiny is the only size that works.

'Write report' is a panic attack. 'Open the doc' is a task. Our nudges are obsessed with the smallest possible next step.

03

Boring reminders get banished.

Your brain has muted every reminder it's ever seen. We write nudges with personality so they actually break through the noise.

04

Dopamine is a feature, not a bug.

Finishing should feel a little bit ridiculous. Confetti. A daft little noise. A small victory dance. We optimise for fun, not metrics.

05

You are not your worst day.

Low-spoon days exist. Nudge adapts. Gentle on hard days, cheeky on chaotic ones, completely silent if you ask.

06

Nudges, never nags.

There's a difference between a friend who pokes you and a parent who lectures you. We're firmly Team Friend.

07

Your brain shouldn't have to hold it all.

Time, keys, appointments, the order you do things in — none of that belongs in working memory. Put it in the app: Time Horizons, Where Things Live, routines that reset themselves. Offloading isn't cheating, it's the whole strategy.

If your brain is a bit chaotic, a bit brilliant, and a bit allergic to to‑do lists — Nudge is your people.
